LOL, remember when Carroll innocently mentioned this site over there, and he and I were subjected to a barrage of vile abuse and insults, spammer being easily the mildest of them. It was pretty hurtful. Luckily, we're not like that over here 🙂 To be fair, there were lots of folks who were not like that over there too.

I might just watch for a while and then, if the good guys come back and not just the not-so-good guys, I might jump in again. It was a very active site and I got some good feedback and advice there from some very talented and helpful people. On the downside, it was easy to get drawn into pointless arguments and politics would somehow creep into everything.

Oh yeah', I remember... Brian and I had to reach an understanding, like I was a spy in his back yard lol.

The 'views' there are remarkable. That alone makes it a site worth participating on.
I like having multiple sites to visit. Any one of them can go into a hibernation mode and be uninteresting for an extended period. As I recall, summertime is a slowdown time. Folks got better things to do out in the wonderful world. But sometimes sites can be wonderfully entertaining.
I'm still checkin' in at thesongwritersforum too, hopin' someone will surprise me.
It's all good.
I need to go check my website and see if I have all these sites listed there. They may object to talking about other sites on their sites but I feel it's not a competition, it's a community, and we can share the net without anybody losing anything.

Exactly Gary! We all participate on all of them anyway to maximize exposure... So, why not just cooperate? The animosity would be understandable if these sites were making money through advertising or something. But, as it is, these sites are mostly just for fun... for amateurs like me... unless I get cancelled... lol 🙂

Yes, I've never understood that animosity. It certainly isn't a two way thing. I've encouraged folks to visit over there before and actively participated in the past.

That sickening sweet and polite politically neutral charm of yours is welcome everywhere Gavin 🙂

Sept. 10, 2022 getting a 404 Error message. It happened the other day, then came back.
Brian may be trying to fix the Active Threads function Gavin and others mentioned.
