How happy I am that everything starts walking again! Hi all!!
I've always wondered what it's called the place where dreams are thrown ... and I've realized that it has no name ...
I leave you here today a song in French with the translation below in English that talks about this topic.
Here goes the English translation. Merci.
"Where dreams are thrown"
These days,
every time,
every time
every time
that I look at you
I wonder
if you see me
where the shadow of your sadness
holds me hidden
where the shadow of your sadness
holds me hidden
These days
every time
every time
every time
that I'm looking for your eyes
I find them lost
there
where dreams are thrown
I find them lost
there
where dreams are thrown
under the mist of the rain
And I touch your hand
to feel your skin
and find
the one I love
but you are not here
and my presence
becomes so pale
like the smoke
escaping
from your cigarrette
like the smoke
escaping
from your cigarrette
These days
These days
The bad part of the doubt is that it has no face
Wow! I love this. Wonderful lyrics and that atmospheric soundscape that Marcus does so well. The cigarette smoke image is so evocative. But maybe the biggest star is the video. Outstanding.

Wow. Love this Mora and Marcus! Those subtle guitar licks are really awesome. I've said it before when commenting on your stuff but I need to take a page from your book on some (not all), but some of my songs where just a few subtle guitar leads perfectly placed are actually better for the song instead of the lead guitar dominating the song. I love the vocals in French! It got me thinking though that maybe an interesting future song could be a song title in French, verses sung in English, but then the chorus or part of the chorus sung in French. Kind of like A Tout Le Monde by Megadeth, but only like that in structure, I'm not saying it should be a metal or rock song at all. I actually don't like that song by Megadeth or Dave Mustaine's voice as he attempts to sing in French, but I like the idea of what he was trying to do...French title, English verses, French chorus.
When you sing in English I am a fan of your accent and the way you sing certain words in English. I think coupling that with your true language of French within the same song would be a cool pairing.
Sort of like Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads, except that they use French mostly in the bridge, or Denis Denis by Blondie. I can see Jen channeling her inner Debbie Harry.

The idea of dreams being thrown is definitely different. I've always thought of dreams dying a slow death. More of a fading away than anything. But a dream being thrown like a piece of trash makes the idea of a lost dream that much more traumatic.
In the French, "se jettent" means "throw themselves," which is even more intriguing and poignant.

Hola Gavin
Many thanks! I am learning a lot of things about singing, English, and videos... to learn is the gasoline that moves everything !!

Thanks for commenting on my video, John.
What you suggest about a song with a title in French and etc ... may be a good idea, why not? I'll have to prove it for myself.
I am Spanish, French is my second language.

Hi DClose!
Thank you very much. Any resemblance to reality is pure coincidence....
I am aware that I am very dramatic writing my songs. I should have been born Greek hahaha

Oui, c'est comme ça.

So you sing and speak three languages! Impressive.
