Over the past decade or so I’ve focused mainly on collaborations, writing and recording songs together with lyricists, composers, musicians and/or vocalists. “Take My Hand” is one of the few songs I wrote and produced all by myself. I wanted the song to sound pop/rock-ish. That’s pretty tough if you can’t play a guitar. It was supposed to sound a bit like The Rembrandts. They were pretty big here in the 90s. I’m not sure I achieved my goal ? . I apologize in advance for my weak vocal performance.

You've got a great song right here man. I was sold the second I heard that intro. I hear the Rembrandts influence, though I'm definitely also getting some REM vibes too.

Robert . . . enjoyed this, uplifting and positive. You've surely got a pop rockish sound here as you mention, more pop than rock. I don't recall The Rembrandts, but what you have here sounds pretty modern in the instrumentation to me, and it's a great radio ready crisp recording. On headphones, that intro pan guitar LR makes the head spin a bit, but I got over it once the pop kicked in . . . maybe that was your plan all along. Great stuff !

I hope I haven't been coming across as negative. I also hope you don't think that my positive feedback means that you did a lot of things right. More likely to mean the opposite LOL. Seriously, though, I think you did in fact do a lot of things right and the result is a cool pop song.
