I know lots of singers who use a closet. That definitely improves things. You still have hard walls to contend with but the space is smaller. If you can line it with fabric that'd be even better, or just sing among the clothes (lol). I know a singer who records by putting her head in a kitchen cupboard (I kid you not) and when I started playing around with sound quality I experimented with a clothes rack for a couple days. Jen Ledger from Skillet sings fills with her head shoved under a couch cushion if she's away from the studio but needs to lay a vocal. This is a singer/drummer in a band that gets 100s of Millions of views on Youtube! A couch cushion!

What I'm talking about is like a five minute craft job. It's really easy to make a make-shift screen. It won't be as good as a manufactured one, but it's a heck of a lot better than nothing. Or, just climb in the closet.  🙂

HaHa,

And who is the one that keeps telling me, "you have a good voice, you should post more", hmmm, that would be you "T".  You've got that Sammy Hagar ring in that voice, use it loud and proud brother.  Good luck and best wishes,
