The story song is singing in a third-person view of the events.
Imagine there is a Prom couple dancing a slow dance. The Sports Girl (A Hobby symbolizing.) She dumped her now ex-boyfriend.
The Boy is heartbroken. Then a Ballroom Dancer offers her hand to him. She shows him the world of Ballroom Dancing.
There are other Ballroom Dancing girls who want to dance with him.
Each Ballroom Girl is a different Ballroom Dance style.
Waltz to all the other Ballroom Dancing styles to back to Waltz.
The emotions of the song should be from Sorrow to Overwhelmed to Joyful and happiness.
Can someone help me with this idea?

What exactly are you looking for here? Lyric and melody? You have what seems to me to be a pretty nice idea, but that's all so far.
Thanks. I'm looking for Melody. I kinda got the Lyrics but I feel like I'm missing something with my lyrics or I'm not sure.
High School Prom Dance or High School Home Coming Dance feeling in the beginning.
Then the heartbreak.
Nervous about giving a new hobby a try.
Overwhelm feeling
between the Nervous and overwhelming selection of the song should have different styles of Ballroom dancing style. (Girls cutting in to dance with the Heartbroken boy)
From Overwhelming to comfortable to Happiness feeling at the end of the song.
I also don't care if a male or a female sings the song or both sing the song. I got two friends they are like Sister and brother figures to me. I think they won't mind singing the song.
