Eliminate 'man-concentrated' sugars and starches. Mother Nature never concentrates them the way men who want your money and are willing to kill you to get it do. Therefore, they are Un-Natural. The excess calories in man-concentrated sugars and starches end up in storage. The body detects them on the tongue and entering the bloodstream and issues Insulin, the hormone that causes 'storage'. Insulin goes to the liver and commands it to produce cholesterol for the storage process. Some 85% of the cholesterol in your bloodstream comes from your liver on command of Insulin. Stop eating the things that stimulate Insulin production and you'll stop producing cholesterol.
It takes 5 to 7 days to stop craving those substances. It's not hard to figure out what you're NOT going to eat for the rest of your life (YOUR) and (LIFE). Now figure out what you ARE going to eat. It is a lifestyle change to stop eating what they're selling. You never want to go back to the old lifestyle.
Vegetables can become a pleasure, lots of tastes and textures to satisfy your 'hunger'. Beware man-doctored salad dressings. The High Fructose Corn Syrup is created by treating corn stalks, not kernels, stalks, like silage for cattle, with some kind of enzymes. Enzymes, like hormones, are powerful substances. The mysterious enzymes (Mysterious as to source?) cause the corn stalks to issue or turn to High Fructose Corn Syrup. Unlike beet sugar or cane sugar, 50% glucose, 50% fructose, bound together by Mother Nature, High Fructose Corn Syrup is 55% fructose (high), and 45% glucose, and NOT bound together. The latest allegation is it causes 'leaky gut', perforations in the bowel that enable wastes to leak out into your body cavities. HFCS was approved in the 1980's. An obesity epidemic followed in the 1990's, 63% of Americans being overweight, 34% qualifying as obese. Diabetes increased 60% in the last ten years of the 1900's (1990-2000). What changed? It wasn't a germ. It wasn't a gene. Something in the American food supply changed. Most diseases plaguing Americans are Diet-Related Disorders (DRD). You have to become your own 'doctor' Doctors don't get one hour of training in nutrition. They learn how to put you on pills. That's it. And the pills may 'treat' the symptoms of your disease but they don't cure it. You take the pills the rest of your life. (YOUR LIFE).
Awww shucks! I went to Golden Corral last night! 😋
I know you're right Gary... Just cutting sugar, salt, white wheat flower, and corn meal out of your diet will make a huge difference real fast! That basically limits you to nothing but meat and vegetables but hey, it works! Once your blood sugar levels out after about 3 days, you lose the "comfort food" cravings and actually have more energy. I step on the scale every morning and find that I drop a pound a day like clockwork! Now I get hungry because, if I'm busy with something, I forget to eat...
It takes a little planning to be prepared to eat right. Tactics #1: You don't buy and bring the crap into the house. Tactics #2: The stuff you do bring in is planned for your personal 'menu'. It's not a 'diet' to go on and back off again. It's a lifestyle change. You can plan your meals for a few days at a time, shop and get that stuff in the house. Things change. People feed ya somewhere else. You can't get back to the house so ya eat somethin' somewhere. But basically you stick to the plan, prepare, pack a lunch when you know you're going to be out and about. And don't watch the TV when they show those three-foot high cheezy pizza strings!
