Poem this time:
The Eagle and the bear
An eagle alit on a mountain top
Next to a grizzly bear.
The bear as the eagle how much more time?
Before man arrives up here?
With a tear in his eye; he answered.
Old friend we’ve run out of time.
They’re logging the valley below us.
This mountain is to be mined.
The old bear asked his friend; what of us then?
He said they’ll house us in zoos.
He said I’d rather be dead than live there.
The eagle replied me too.
He dove; the bear charged down the mountain.
Dignity allowed no less.
All that is left now is the legend
Of how they were brave in death.
