Who are we?

Who am I in this world?
Who and what are you?
In the grand scheme of things
What are we to do?
Ant’s beside a mountain.
Grains of sand in time.
We’re meaningless beings

Aunts - Ha! My only reasoning for singular is it really accentuates the smallness.
