no, it means starting something and then quitting, like preparing for a race buying the outfit needed , training etc then when race day comes you just quit , that's just 1 of many examples. I wrote it like that to be different from saying the same old normal way

Well, perhaps a little "same old" is what you need here.... From my reading, V2 answers the question. However, the chorus, specifically the "ain’t fit for the bone" line, still indicates a sense of worthlessness. So..... What’s the message here?

each person might a diff message in a song so who's to say which one is right or wrong? the song came to me woke me up I wrote it down finished same morning
