I've sung through the lyrics on D's Welcome to the Junction. It's a fast-as thing and I'd definitely have to have the lyric sheet in front of me, but it's totally doable with a few tweaks to syllable count. I had Welcome to the Jungle going in one ear, while I listened to myself match Derek's lyrics in the other. lol Seriously funny. If I sang this, it wouldn't be a work of art (I ain't no Axl), but it'd sure be fun to do.

So as I said, if you lot are happy to do the music side, I'm happy to just rock on up on the day and sing it (unless it's Song Junction in which case you'll have to find another singer cause I definitely ain't feeling that one. Tony???). Personally, I'd prefer to do a parody because then I don't have to spend any time thinking about melody and vocal interpretation (still have 5 songs to do before COG can be released). Your call.

You know I would Jenn but, the last time I "got my hair on" I tripped over a floor monitor, ripped the a$$ out of those tight jeans, broke the neck on my Gibson and squashed my top-hat!!! It was an awesome night!!! 🙂

Our fiddler, Beau Strokes, did play banjo on one of our songs. He's kind of up to his ass in other stuff at the moment, as am I, which is why I have not been all over this. I think it's a great idea. I'm hoping I'm less busy next week and can give it the attention it deserves.
