Theory of everything

Here’s a trippy thought for you

What if one and one don’t just make two

And there’s no such thing as fundamental truth

And one two only exists because it has to

In order to fit with pretty much everything you ever knew

Do you ever wonder if it’s true?

Do you think there’s an axis of the universe

And it’s moving maybe falling like a Big Bang blew out the roof and it all collapsed

Or the light’s all tangled up in shit just tryna undo the concept two as fact

And make its way all back together making mazes move and the maze is you it ain’t amazing you when I ask you what if one and one don’t just mean two

And then I start shaking and I’m not sure what I’m making but the pieces all fit feels like it’s all mine for the taking something’s missing start explaining sure it might account for rain and black holes and sunlight draining but then we dive into the jargonese and you think we don’t understand and don’t trust me assumedly I’m stupidly astute but disreputefully amused by playing games where one plus one is not a fundamental two I doubt me too but even if the rest is wrong that part’s still true

Staring into space blank like the look on my face

Plain white room asking if you see it too

But you don’t do you and then we’re talking bout my brain and how I might just be insane but it fits with everything even colour-oh wait shit hey if it’s ocean we call space then what exists above the waves and what is colour anyway but then it rushes to my face and I realize I’m stuck safe to say I was the closest yet today but as the manic melts away and webs break down to points in space and out of white light comes your face and you just say hey friend you’ve been away I guess I was in my brain on another plain insane I hope not anyway time to get up and go and play and speculate another day I hope I never do I hate to say cuz I hate the fucking joker and I wish he’d stay away
