When Jesus Cleared Out The Temple

When Jesus cleared out the temple

He cast out all that sold there...

He overthew the tables of mercandise.

He said you have made this a den of theives...

Jesus said it is written my

house shall be called a house of prayer.

The blind and lame came to Him and he healed them.

The children cried Hosanna to the son of David.

The scribes and chief priests saw the

wondelful things that He did.

They were so displeased

And said hearest thou what they say Jesus.

Jesus said Yea have ye never read

Out of the mouth of babes...

Thou hast perfected praise.

Hosanna Hassana

Hosanna to the king of kings

Hosanna Hosanna

Hosanna to the king of kings

You have hit upon one of my favorite subjects here... Yes, Jesus is the Messiah; but it was organized religion, politics, dogmatic adherence to outdated tradition and pride that caused His own people to hand Him over to the Romans to be crucified. They were so blinded by their own religious authority, even under Roman rule, that they didn't recognize who Jesus is. I often wonder how much "Belief in God" must have been taken for granted 2000yrs ago to ignore all the miracles Christ performed... not to mention all the prophecy He perfectly fulfilled.
