It Will Take A Rocket Scientist
We had an argument.
We went our separate ways.
But we always ran into each other
No matter where we went
We couldn't seem to work it out.
I'm not sure if we ever will.
It's gonna take a rocket scientist.
To figure it all out.
It's goona take a rocket scientist to put us together again
So till then what will we do.
You know that I love you.
And I know you love me.
No matter what we do.
It just ain't working out.
And I don't think it ever will.
It's gonna take a rocket scientist.
To figure it all out.
It's goona take a rocket scientist to put us together again.
We still see eack other.
No matter where we go.
We don't know what to do abot it.
We tried everything.
We still can't work it out.
Not sure if we ever will.
It's gonna take a rocket scientist.
To figure it all out.
It's goona take a rocket scientist to put us together again

Hey Larry.
This seems to be quite difficult to imagine a melody too. I'm not a syllable counter, but the apparently random variations in line length, especially in the first verse might be a bit off-putting to any potential collaborator. If I were you, I would make the verses rhyme.
It has a lighthearted feel to it, which makes me think it could benefit from a twist of some kind. You could put in something about how they must be crazy or not right in the head not to get together and then switch out rocket scientist for brain surgeon in the following chorus.
Just my thoughts 🙂
I may or may not be an enigma
