This one came quickly but it's pretty simple. I kind of like the groove it has. Maybe we can make this into something. My camera was freaking out for some reason. Sorry. 🙂

Demo #2. Ignore the lead guitar in the verses. That won't stay. I was just kicking around some ideas. But I like the lead guitar I put into the choruses. Are the choruses too big now?

Would have to hear it with vocals.  As long as the chorus leads doesn't bury the vocals it might work.  As an instrumental it sounds great!

Nope. He's not getting an instrumental out of this one, D. My response was a bit muted on the first demo, but this...THIS, I love. Nice work J.

I wasn't suggesting it be an instrumental.  Just noting that at this point, without vocals, it sounds great!

🙂 Jen knows she can always do whatever she wants with anything I write. When you get inspired you just have to take it and run with it. I'm curious as to how this one will work itself out.

I promise you I'll never rap on one of your songs (or any song for that matter). All respect to rappers of the world because that's a hard earned skill if ever there was one (Done properly that is). It even has its own breathing technique!

Why would you rap when you can yodel? I'm pretty sure that's what Jen has in mind.

Admin guy, the closest I ever got to yodelling was playing an alp horn...now THAT would be a cool addition to an Evans and Stokes song. I used to play the trumpet in a jazz band (way back in my high school days) so it wasn't much different than that, but the sound took ages to happen. I blew........................................and then the note came out. Beautiful instrument though.

No yodelling   ?

The Swiss are a very patient people, Jen. They are happy to wait, confident that the note will emerge in good time. The famous composer Jürgen Adigzis composed his concerto for two alphorns in 1887.  It had it's first performance in Luzern the following year, but nobody has actually heard it yet. The fact that he can be described as famous is a testament to the confidence of his countrymen in his genius which, like a fine cheese, can only be appreciated fully after being allowed to mature. Book your tickets for June 8th 2021, when the first notes are expected to emerge.

I may or may not be an enigma
