I wrote the chord progression for this song many, many months ago, and somehow, out of the blue while I was just noodling with it as a backing track, I started playing a melody line and it stuck. I actually had no idea what to write about because, for the last year, I've focused on writing songs for Church. So I kind of took the Leon Bridges approach to writing love song lyrics and made a "God" song but didn't call out God specifically. Thematically it seems to work, but I welcome any suggestions.

No direction, drifting without aim
No horizon in my life
Pushed by currents
Headings always change
No destination to divine
Then like a Siren song
You beckoned me to you
And now I'm driving
Straight into your arms.
Chorus

Is sailing on the wind
On a course that's set

No rough or stormy seas
Could never stop me from
Being by your side
Where I long to be

My ship is righted

And I can weather any storm

where it's safe warm

Just a couple of lyric glitches...
