Intro 4 bars (key of A)
Mister Holly, you're such a good buddy
Your music is truly prosodic
Mister Holly, just let me say that we miss you
Ooh, Ooh, Ooh
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
.... .... .... ....
Mister Holly, the girls have gone crazy
For the beat that's kicking with their feet
Mister Holly, we'll never forget Peggy Sue
Ooh, Ooh, Ooh
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
Instrumental: 8 bars
Mister Holly, your sound is still groovy
Everyday, it really makes me sway
Mister Holly, I raise my hat in front of you
Ooh, Ooh, Ooh
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
It's so easy to sing along
Mister Holly, we all belong
Mister Holly, I do belong
.... .... .... .... .

i like the way that there are melodic echoes of Buddy Holly in the song. That's very clever. I think you might want to change this line: "Your music is truly prosodic." It sounds a bit formal and out of place, and most listeners will not know what prosodic means.
Good one!
