Here's a link to a song created from some lyrics by Carroll Kiphen (you may know him from the lyrics forum here ? oh yeah) . . . when I read them, the musical idea flowed very easily from them, an enjoyable collaboration, didn't have to change much at all . . . Thanks Carroll !

Yes, Carroll's lyrics do tend to suggest melodies as you read them. I like this. I think it might benefit by bringing the vocals forward a bit. They seem a bit buried under the instruments. Also, I felt like I wanted to hear beefier drums. There's a good catchy pop tune here.

Thanks for listening Gavin and JAPOV . . . Gavin says vocals forward, JAPOV says guitars back . . . lol, maybe a little of both will help, I value your inputs, and will adjust accordingly !

I'm pretty sure what I'm hearing is a lot of added high-end to the vox to compete with the guitars lol, I do that a lot 😉
