So we just wrapped up this song 'Godforsaken' and I love the scream Jenny did for the main transition in the song. Check it out at the :40 sec mark!

Yup, I'm a weird guitar effect. ? Thanks guys. Technically, it's not really a scream. It's called a whisper scream. It starts in a fry vocal (which is kind of like a croaking sound) that is lifted into the mouth where it bounces around. A very weird feeling having a sound bounce around the mouth. 🙂

Very successful to use the cry of Jenny in the transition !!! It's a wonderful bridge!
I loved the song, it has strength, balance and its parts are logical and keep my interest. Good stuff.

Okay Guys, the two of you have some really high energy songs here and I truly appreciate that. However (here it comes); I'm an old guy with poor hearing..... But...... I can't understand a word Jenny is singing. Now I realize an old guy like me is not your target audience; and I truly do like your music; but I would really like to understand the lyrics when I hear them. Now I can easily hear the loud crashing guitar and I realize that is paramount with this type of music; but would it be too much to ask if I could hear my Girl Jen's vocals a little better in the mix. Note also; I'm nearing the end of my 12 pack and I may be out of line with my comments here; but I think Jen has a lovely voice if only I could hear her vocals better.
Now if I were singing I could understand covering my vocals up with a loud guitars and background music; but Jen has such a beautiful voice, couldn't we bring her vocals out front a little bit more??? (hiccup.... sorry about that).

Well, I like it very much, I think it fits your style well.
It's emotional and dramatic.
Sometimes drug addiction can be associated with rock stars, their lifestyle, it can seem romantic, but I think it can be a big problem for most people.
One of the reasons is that the person gets isolated and despised, as you said.
