This is one I wrote out of spite... You see, many try to explain to me these days that, in our current hyper polarized political environment, I should probably be careful not to be such a "conservative constitutional Christian..." Well... I'm proud to say I did it anyway lol!

This is a great write "T".  Can I get an AMEN brothers and sisters!

Tony, you know I disagree with you on just about everything LOL, but this is a great lyric. I love the sound too, although I think it would be even better if about half way through you let the melody really take off, maybe adding a rhythm guitar to help the bass carry the beat and allowing you to really sing with the melody instead of just over the beat. I could be totally wrong about that, but a line like "No laurels for yesterday’s morals" oozes melody.

Having said all that, it sounds great as it is 🙂
