I’ve graduated, got good grades

i got a job now, i pay my way

i hope you’re proud dad, i love you mom
my student loan’s overdue and my degree sits in a drawer
i pay my taxes, i always vote
but these four walls are reminding me of what i’m not
i must admit, i don’t always pray
