I have been looking for a while for an easy way to integrate a playlist on my website. Apparently this used to be a core feature of previous Wordpress versions but disappeared in the latest updates. Anyone with a website based on Wordpress, might want to look at this free plug-in called Cue. I found it incredibly easy to set up. It doesn't have a lot of options, none really, but that suits me just fine - the simpler the better. It looks good, particularly on the phone, and works.

I just realized this post reads like a paid plug for Cue. It's not. Just passing on something I learned. Here's what it looks like on my website. You need to click on it and view it on my website. It doesn't look like the preview below.

That does look good, Gavin. Here's a bug for you to work on. When I went to listen to the playlist, I could not hear anything. The tune was apparently playing, but no sound was coming out. I usually have my audio going through an audio interface so the first thing I tried to fix it was to run my headphones through the PC audio instead of the interface. It worked. So yes, very cool through the computer's audio, but not through an audio interface.   🙂

Hmm, that's strange, Jen. I'm not sure how I could work on the bug. The plug-in is what it is 🙁 On the bright side, I don't think many folks will be listening through audio interfaces. Of course, not many people will be listening at all LOL, but most would presumably be on their phones.

Yup. I'm an oddity. I've never listened to music on my phone. My phone only becomes an entity when I'm away from my computer, but when I'm away from my computer, I'm either not listening to music or listening on a sound system.   : )
