About Me

Vegetarian or even not, come Visit this information (www.thedailyworld.com published a blog post) way, this's so nummy. This particular recipe is vegetarian, so you beef eaters might want this with a beef, pork, or whatever beef steak. This is not a recipe for Vegans however, I have not gotten there yet unless I fill up on fruit and vegetables. Hey! what a concept, vegetables and fruit. One should always remember the basic principles if a person wants to stay good right?

Years back for aproximatelly 9 months I was a vegetarian. I purchased a lot of vegetable stuff.. veggie hot dogs, veggie patties, unknown the things they were supposed to be very, anyway you receive the picture right? I was looking to end up being a vegetarian for the creatures. I felt to quite guilty and I guess I still do, but I consume meat again and I assume close off that part of me that worries about it. When in some time I make this dish only because I like it. The consistency is very meaty actually. Test it, I presume you are going to like it Micky!

"Oatmeal Mushroom Steak"

One TBL. vegex (like a bouillon cube)

1/2 cup warm water one tsp. sea salt (yes in case you are gonna be healthy and fit make it sea salt, smile)

1/2 sage or chicken seasoning

One onion chopped 3 TBL. Butter (I constantly make use of real butter, the taste can't be compared)

3 eggs well beaten

One can cream of mushroom soup

2 soup cans - water which is hot

1 may mushrooms (I know, I can' hear' you, canned equipment is not all that healthy)

2 1/4 Cup uncooked old fashioned oatmeal

Saute the onions in the butter. Combine everything except the mushroom soup, two cans of water that is hot and vegex. Mix well. Cover and let it stand for about 45 minutes. Mold the mixture into small food size patties and fry in oil which is hot until golden brown. (Gads an additional bad thing, stop thinking quite loud! I will hear you all of the way to Hawaii). Put just a little of the soup mixture (all the stuff you did not use to build the patties) in the bottom level of a 9x12 baking dish to blanket the bottom level. Arrange patties on top of mixture and take care of the remaining with the soup mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Yay, you are nearly done. Make just a little salad and some fruit for dessert, set a gorgeous table. Yay!
