The Holiday Inn
Verse
He took a cocaine holiday.
Decided he would stay.
He partied all night and all day.
Took to wearing dark shades.
Chorus
There’s no checking out, no checking out
The party never ends.
There’s no checking out, no checking out
At the Holiday Inn.
Verse
In his eyes you could see tombstones.
The cocaine turned to snow.
He learned what every junkie knows.
Satan has a heart of stone.
Chorus
There’s no checking out, no checking out
The party never ends.
There’s no checking out, no checking out
At the Holiday Inn.
Verse
First up his nose, then in his vein.
It’s just to end the pain.
When he’s not high, he is insane.
He has to steal to play.
Chorus
There’s no checking out, no checking out
The party never ends.
There’s no checking out, no checking out
At the Holiday Inn.
Bridge
He’s on a permanent vacation.
And he ain’t coming home again.

Carroll, you OK? All your songs seem to be downers recently. 🙂
Actually, it's another good lyric - yours pretty much always are - and teamed with the right music it could be really good. Having said that, it's a subject that's been done to death and I'm not sure what you're going for here in terms of an emotional response from the listener.
In the chorus, I think you might be better with a perfect rhyme, rather than "Ends" and "Inn"
I may or may not be an enigma

I’m fine. Just hear things and it gives me a line and I work from there
