The train is right on time
Verse
There are levels of heaven, levels of hell
A lot like Dante explained.
There is a station where lost souls are waiting.
Waiting to board the train.
Pre chorus
They watch the clock, count down the time.
No one says a thing.
Tally good deeds, regret their sins.
Wonder what fate will bring.
Chorus
They hear the whistle blowing.
The train is right on time.
I hear the devil calling.
Hope this is not his line.
They hear the whistle blowing.
The train is right on time.
Verse
There are levels of evil, levels of sin.
A lot like Sadler proclaimed.
There is a station where our souls sit waiting.

We all have our own idea.
Of what’s hell or paradise.
All of us make our own choices.
The way that we live our lives.

He Carroll, a couple of ideas I had while reading this.
Instead of "There is a station," how about "Here is a station" or "Here is the station?" Puts us right there, like you're painting a picture.
This line is a bit tricky to sing : "There is a station where our souls sit waiting." It's the word "where" followed by "our." How about omitting the word "our?" And changing "there" to "here" of course.
Lastly, how about repeating the word "waiting" in the lines below? It fits the rhythm better and somehow adds to the mood of anxiety.
"There is a station where lost souls are waiting.
Waiting to board the train."
I may or may not be an enigma
