The train is right on time

There are levels of heaven, levels of hell
A lot like Dante explained.
There is a station where lost souls are waiting.
Waiting to board the train.
Pre chorus
They watch the clock, count down the time.

Tally good deeds, regret their sins.

He Carroll, a couple of ideas I had while reading this.
Instead of "There is a station," how about "Here is a station" or "Here is the station?" Puts us right there, like you're painting a picture.
This line is a bit tricky to sing : "There is a station where our souls sit waiting." It's the word "where" followed by "our." How about omitting the word "our?" And changing "there" to "here" of course.
Lastly, how about repeating the word "waiting" in the lines below? It fits the rhythm better and somehow adds to the mood of anxiety.
"There is a station where lost souls are waiting.
Waiting to board the train."
I may or may not be an enigma
