Out of sight is out of mind
Verse
People don’t drop coins in a jukebox
To play a song anymore.
They don’t let you smoke in a bar room
Or throw sawdust on the floor.
Pre chorus
Outdated relegated
Reserved for the past.
Unwanted, disregarded
Life goes by too fast.
Chorus
Out with the old, in with the new
Keep up or get left behind.
Like memories in the attic.
Out of sight is out of mind.
Verse
People don’t buy stamps the send e mail.
They don’t shop in retail stores.
They go online, pick from a menu.
The goods show up at their door.
Pre chorus
Outdated relegated
Reserved for the past.
Unwanted, disregarded
Life goes by too fast.
Chorus
Out with the old, in with the new
Keep up or get left behind.
Like memories in the attic.
Out of sight is out of mind.
Bridge
Newer doesn’t make it better.
Some things ought not change.
I supposed I am old fashioned
But I still ride trains.

Hi Carroll,
I liked these lines. Due to Corona you can't do much these days, therefore I thought I'd record what I hear when I read your lyrics. Sorry for the bad vocals.
All the best
Robert
This is really good. Love the melody. Noticed Suzi was tapping her foot in tune. I saw Ian was complaining he was bored. Been at home 5 days now. I suggested he pass the time working on songs as well.

I enjoyed the listen. Catchy melody. To me, the best line is "I still ride trains."
