Prophecy is the legacy
Of the sons of Adam
Do not mistake God’s mercy
For common wisdom
All truth and purpose is of God
Given freely as a warning
All who deny God are liars
Rewarded with mourning
We are not gods, we own nothing
We toil self righteous ground
We will know who’s in control
When God removes all doubt
The earth and sea may groan
The sky may burn like fire
But the prophets wrote for you
An eternal reminder
As lightning strikes in the east
And also shows in the west
So shall His return be
For His faithful who stood the test
