My heart was not a stone
I looked up at the sky and I wondered
Are there other worlds out there?
I thought hard about it and I pondered
Is there war and hate on theirs?
If god created man he created them.
Same flaws same failings
That bring about war.
This thought brought fear to my heart.
A darkness to my mind.
To know that man is not alone.
There are more of his kind.

Are there other men like me?
There was a flash of light and it thundered
Was god as angry as me?
Thought god created man, he created me.
Same hopes, same wishes
About what could be.
This thought brought hope to my heart.
A calmness to my soul.
To know that I was not alone.
My heart was not a stone.
