Life’s in Shades of Grey
There’s my way there’s your way.
The highway if we choose.
There’s no compromise in our lives.
We both hate to lose.
There’s a right side, a wrong side
And there’s a middle lane.
You see black and I see white
But life’s in shades of grey.
We’ve been together ten years.
We’ve fought a lot of rounds.
We’re both fighters think we’re righters.
You can’t keep us down.
There’s a right side, a wrong side
And there’s a middle lane.
You see black and I see white
But life’s in shades of grey.
We’re either fighting or we’re loving.
There’s no in between.
There’s no in between.
There’s your side there’s my side.
A divorce if we choose.
There’s no victory we both lose.
We both hate bad news.
There’s a right side, a wrong side
And there’s a middle lane.
You see black and I see white
But life’s in shades of grey.

Hey Carroll. I like the chorus and the theme of the song, and the bridge is great, but I think the verses are too repetitive. My feeling is that there's room for more of the story to come out in the verses.
