I like this a lot, Tony. I've always enjoyed your more lyrical, less angry stuff. Not a wasted word here. I agree it needs a light touch musically. Could be special.

I always write with at least a rhythm/tempo in mind... but, with my limited vocal range, the chord progressions are always pretty much the same lol. All I'm suited for these days is blues rock, but what I hear in my head is more than that... So, I don't want to make the mistake of steering you in the wrong direction here. You have a much better voice than I do so... BE FEARLESS! There are no wrong answers! Let me hear where this lyric takes YOU! No pressure  🙂

Here's a hint... try a slow waltz.... hold your notes, don't rap!  😉
