If I were you, I would remove this verse, and replace it with something else.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it takes the focus off the lady and onto the singer. It narrows its applicability. Without it, the song could be sung by any man to a woman he sees as beautiful - a girlfriend, wife or, as here, an unattainable object of desire.
