It's been almost fifty years.

Nice love song with a strong hook. Do you think it could benefit from a bridge to add musical and lyrical variety, since there's no chorus? The repeated "It's been almost fifty years" is great, but to me it might be even greater returning after a bridge for the last verse. It would add a little bit of musical suspense, resolved when you hear it again. Just a thought.
