Watching Clouds

I'm laying on my back watching clouds.

The wind blowing them slowly across the sky.

My mind is open to the sight I see.

My eye catches the sun as each cloud rolls by.

Then evening comes and the stars shine bright.

The moon shines across the bay catching glimpse of waves

My mind tells me to stay awake

My body tells me I need plenty of sleep.

The ships comes sailing across the bay.

The seagulls are catching plenty of fish to eat.

My feet tells me to walk on water.

My faith tells me it's impossible.

I see a fire on the other shore.

Calling me to come and sit awhile.

My hands tell me to swim across the bay

The rest of me say don't you dare.
