The Christmas Tree

Sitting here looking at the Christmas tree...

Thoughts come to my mind of what it reminds me of.

Star on the tree reminds me of the star the shepherds followed to the babe in the manger.

The lights remind me of the fact that Jesus is the light of the World.

The gifts remind me of the gifts the Magi brought that first Christmas night.

Gold frankensence and myrrh

Gold frankensense and myrrh

Gold frankensence and myrrh

And the angel said unto them,

Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,

which shall be to all people.

Glory to God in the highest

Peace on Earth good will to men

There`s a manger scene under the Christmas tree.

Mary & Joseph and the baby Jesus.

The animals watching in amazement of all the fuss going on over such a little one.

The angels on the tree reminds me of the angels who came .

The ornaments remind me of once again of the gifts the wisemen gave

And the angel said unto them,

Thank you God for the Christmas tree

That reminds me of that first Christmas night Amen.
