Still Coughing

I've been sick all week.
Still coughing.
Nine days a week.
I'm still coughing.
Feeling like a dog.
Still coughing.

Taken all that expensive medicine..
Three different anti-biotics.
And I'm still coughing.
It's been three months now.
Feels like a year.
Still coughing.

Think I'm gonna die.
Still coughing.

Only thing that soothes my throat is Ricola.
They tell me I got Bronchitis.
And I'm still coughing.
Still feeling like a dog.
Not avoding you.
Still coughing.

Now if I should die before I wake.
You can carry my coffin..
If I start coughing.
Please don't drop my coffin.
