September Rain
People like different seasons
Me I like Spring and Summer
But when September comes
All I feel is the cold rain
I dread what's coming next
September rain is falling
On my rooftop overhead.
Grey skies all around us
No sun do I see
I just hope September never reigns.
Clinging on to the memories
Of Summer fun in the sun
Kids playing in the Ocean
I'm still soaking up the rays
In my memories of us
