Just The Little Things
Mom and Dad are now gone.
I miss them so much.
I wish they were still here.
I'd take Dad to the trailer
And sit by the fire.
And play some country music on the radio.
I'd take Mom out to dinner.
More than likely to Swiss Chalet.
It was just the little things
that Dad and Mom loved most.
Just the little things.
That's all they wanted.
The little things in life.
That's what they wanted most.
They wanted us kids to believe in Jesus.
Make sure we get to Church.
Each and every Sunday.
It wasn't too much to ask.
