Yes, I think it's a case of counting the beats rather than the syllables, and that can include beats without vocals. At least, that's what works for me 🙂 

Mr Rogers was always a little too "light in the loafers" for me...  Lol, there's an entire generation out there today who have no clue who he was. That reminds me, my X has my album collection and Sansui turntable...  🙁

This song seems to confuse a lot of people, myself included to be honest. I could feel what it was about, but not really explain it. The best I could come up with was that it's about falling through the air, not about hitting the ground. So, unable to put it into words that made sense to anyone, I made a video.

As I was making this, various pretentious thoughts came to mind. "Echoes of Camus"...."in the spirit of Baudelaire...." I yield to no one in my ability to be a pompous git. Then it came to me. The message, though not the tone, resonates with the sensibilities so forcefully expressed by the great Transylvanian philosopher Dr. Frank N. Furter, as he urges Brad and Janet, "Don't dream it - Be it." At that point, I may have got a bit carried away. Dr. Furter's fate should serve as a warning to us about where this might lead...

Yes, I think you probably are more of an Eddie, in which case, you'd be excluded from such philosophical musings by the fact of having been eaten a while ago. In your case, the "it" in "Don't dream it - be it" would be dinner.
