Greetings from Montana.  I come in peace... Or is that pieces?  Anyhoo, I saw a post on Twitter by Evans & Stokes and decided to check this place out.  Not bad!  Could use a divan and a bean bag or two.  Maybe a, hang on.  Coffee cup is empty.  Be right back...

Yay!  Coffee is full again!

Where was I?  Ah, yes!  My name is Derek and I am in Kalispell, MT.  My recording project is called Joshua's Creed.  Being a part of this forum from the beginning is quite exciting.  Thanks for allowing me to be here!

I now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

Y-E-S-S-S-A-H-! So cool that you've joined us, D. I highly recommend y'all go check out D's work with Joshua's Creed. They're a rock band with Derek knocking the bass out of the arena. Favourite tune -- "The Sky is Falling"  ?

I'm a Hard Rock guy.  Cut my teeth on 80's Metal.  Bass is my forte though I play a little guitar, too.  And I'm known to write a lyric or two.  My current recording project is Joshua's Creed.  We released an album back in '16 and are currently working on a 2nd.  Over the years I've been blessed with being able to work with some phenomenal musicians, but nobody who'd been able to make it big.  My discography is:

Joshua's Creed - Joshua's Creed - 2016

Derek Close - The Beta Sessions - 2014

Derek Close - In the Christmas Groove - 2011

Sanctyfied - Flying High - 2007

Nathan Creek - This Side of Solitude - 2004 (Played on 2 songs.)

Nathan Creek - Vice - 1999 (Played on 2 songs)

About This Big - Chaos Theory - 1999

Judah - One Step from the Basement (Demo) 1997

My Cat Puddinhead - My Cat Puddinhead (Demo) - 1994

Hey Derek, I finally got a chance to go to your website and listen to your music. I'm impressed. Neither metal nor Christian rock are normally my cup of tea, but I can appreciate when it's done well, and I enjoyed listening very much. Good stuff. And by the way, your bass  really holds everything together.

I may or may not be an enigma
