Or we are told to eat many times per day to keep our metabolism moving, but if we already have weight to lose, is not that counter intuitive? Let's have a look into what exactly metabolism is, how's works, and also what we are able to do to help keep it running to our advantage.

When the metabolism of ours slows down, it immediately becomes easier to consume a lot more energy than we use up. End up? Weight-gain over time, even though we didn't mean to, so the extra weight is fat, which burns below muscle. Essentially, we have only changed muscle with fat.
