A message from the Supreme Leader: Words like those are permitted when appropriate, but not encouraged. Judicious and sparing use of ...ahem...colorful language can be an effective form of communication. Using it all the ****ing time becomes tiresome and may offend others. As in all matters here, be considerate.

Oh Gavin, thankfully the smile that causes your song lightens the heart of reality ...

I would suggest that an application be invented to eliminate stupidity ... But of course, if they did, nothing would be the same and Face, Twitter and similars  would not exist

The bad part of the doubt is that it has no face

I'm releasing this as a single. It goes live on Friday December 13th. If you are on Spotify, click on the link below to have it added to your library as soon as it’s available. As well as guaranteeing yourself a jolly good time listening to this excellent song, you’ll be supporting the band because the more saves we have, the more Spotify likes us. This can make them add us to more playlists and boost our sales to where we might one day be able to afford an ice cream like the one that polar bear in the picture has.

Thanks Gavin. John and I have been taking a break from writing and just doing promotion, promotion, promotion. I think both of us were kind of music-ed out after Children of God hit the airwaves. Creatively exhausted. Three albums in three years is a lot of work (not the writing of such, but the production). We've been taking some time to live a little outside of the music scene. I'm starting to feel my muse reawakening though so might be posting some stuff soon. In the meantime, I'm just going to hang out, taking a look at what y'all have been up to.    : )

Well, I guess that would be the logical progression... since climate change is a joke.

In 1850 The Human Phenomenon commenced its Industrial-Scale Burning Revolution. People thought it was just an Industrial Revolution. Humans had discovered how to 'capture' the energy of steam to move 'energy slaves', machines. It was so simple the practice spread all over planet Earth. It demanded massive quantities of things to burn to heat water and make steam. Humans found them. They sent men and boys, sometimes women and girls, into holes in the ground to dig out fossil coal. All over planet Earth, wherever coal could be found, Humans dug it up and burned it. Coal trains are rolling today, December 6th, 2019, delivering coal to places of burning. You can't imagine how much coal has been burned. Once used for home heating, heating companies large and small, factories, the coal soot blackened cities. Respiratory health was epidemically bad.
In 1859 John D. Rockefeller drilled oil. He delivered so much of it to be burned he became the richest Human in the entire Human Phenomenon on Earth. You can't imagine how much oil has been burned, rivers of oil flowing, great lakes, an ocean of oil. So much that Humans now perceive a depletion of the supply, while demand ever increases.
Humans burn anything that will burn, animal dung animal fat, grass, wood, coal, oil, gases. Someone, somewhere, is burning something, right now to supply your  demand for the food you will eat, the clothes you will wear, the  shelters you will live and work and shop and be entertained in,  the transportation you will employ, in your near future. And all of it will involve plastic.
Homo Sapiens, 'Knowing Man', did NOT 'know' byproducts of his Industrial-Scale Burning Revolution would heat up and linger in the atmosphere and oceans for the next 100 years, and did NOT 'know' every piece of  plastic ever  made would still be out there, somewhere, in the closed system of planet Earth decades later, and may be centuries later.

Despite 1,000's of years of Songwriting humans have not exhausted the possibilities. There will always be another Song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

The last 170 years, 1850-2020, qualifies as a new geologic epoch, The Anthropocene, acknowledging the effects of Threatening Change caused by The Human Phenomenon.
The year 1850, when there were one-billion Humans, all alive, all at the same time, burning anything that would burn to supply their energy demands, marks the commencement of an Industrial Revolution, but an Industrial-Scale Burning Revolution. Suddenly, to supply heat to turn water to steam to run 'energy slaves', machines, The Human Phenomenon began to put carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and oceans in massive quantities, on an Industrial Scale.
Homo Sapiens, 'Knowing Man', did NOT 'know' byproducts of that burning would so alter the closed system of planet Earth as to threaten survival of all living things, including The Human Phenomenon. Homo Sapiens became Homo Ignitius, 'Burning Man'.
In 75 years (1925) there were two-billion Humans, all alive, all burning to supply their energy demands. John D. Rockefeller drilled oil in 1859 and became the richest Human on planet Earth selling it for internal combustion engines.
In 37 years (1962) there were three-billion.
In 14 years (1976) there were four-billion.
In 10 years ('86) there were five-billion Burning Men.
Something has interrupted the exponential increase in population. Wars? Cancers from the ubiquitous contamination of radioactive particles, petrochemical pollution of the air, water, food supply, Red Dye Lake 40 'legalized' again? Tobacco kills 435,000 American Citizens a year with a government license to make its living killing. Something.
But the exponential increase in burning, and byproducts of carbon dioxide, has not been interrupted. Humans burn anything that will burn. We burn things just to get 'rid' of them, to get them out of our way, out of our sight. We burn animal dung, animal fat, grass, wood, oil, coal, gases. These are the things offered to us to supply our energy demands and we buy them. Someone, somewhere, is burning something, right now, to supply your demand for the food you will eat, the clothes you will wear, the shelters you will live and work and shop and be entertained in, the transportation you will employ, in your near future.
And all of it will involve plastic. Home Ignitius also became Homo Plasticius, 'Plastic Man'. Knowing Man did NOT 'know' every piece of plastic ever made would still be out there, somewhere, in the closed system of planet Earth, decades later, polluting living things down on a molecular level, in the food supply, the water supply, the air supply, and up on a simple clutter and debris level. We burn it, just to get rid of it. It is designed to last forever, yet employed for the temporary purpose of getting product from $eller to con$umer, and then thrown 'away'. But there IS no 'away' in the closed system of planet Earth.
When I was a boy I remember stewardship of the land being 'taught' in school. I doubt it is any more.
Survival of Threatening Change in the Anthropocene demands a supply of Leadership Decision-Makers in commerce and government possessed of the intellect and integrity to make the big decisions for all the rest of us, to design and implement tactics in multifaceted strategies of Adaptive Response to Threatening Change. We need...our survival...survival of all living things...the continued habitability of planet Earth...demands Adaptive Response.
It's like recycling. Millions of us wanted to. But we couldn't until Leadership Decision-Makers supplied bins around the community, and started companies to take our deposits and transport them to places, starting companies to recycle them.
Now we need...our survival demands Leadership Decision-Makers to offer us alternatives to continuation of The Industrial-Scale Burning Revolution, ways to supply our energy demands without burning.
If Mother Nature shines Her Sunstar, doing the nuclear burning a 'safe' 93,000,000 miles away, capture THAT energy.
If Mother Nature has already done the 'work', putting matter into motion in her waters and winds, capture that energy.
Mother Nature offers geothermal energy in the ground at your feet, wherever you stand.
Capturing energy from these non-burning alternative sources can preserve fossil fuels for uses we can't Adapt away from easily and immediately, to supply energy demands of The Human Phenomenon far further into the future than if we simply continue exponential increases in the Industrial-Scale Burning Revolution.
Wanted: Homo Sapiens, again.

Some people will think seven seconds and decide it is the numbers of Humans that is the problem, and design ways to kill them off.
More studied thinkers will comprehend, as I contend, it is the ways Leadership Decision-Makers offer The Human Phenomenon to supply its energy demands that is the problem. If offered electricity from non-burning sources, we'd take it. Mother Nature supplies a nuclear-burning Sunstar a 'safe' 93,000,000 (93 million) miles away. Capture THAT energy. Mother Nature has already done the 'work', moving matter into motion in streams and ocean waves. Capture that energy. There is geothermal energy in the ground at your feet. All you have to do is capture it. A side benefit is that it preserves fossil fuels for uses we can't readily Adapt away from to supply Human energy demands far longer into the future than is possible now.
