I 'attended' this Synchronization Licensing workshop last year and found it very educational.
About 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours a day, five days, with homework overnight if you participate, defining goals, finding names of Music Supervisors who make decisions about music licensed to play in commercial advertising, movie trailers, soundtracks, etc.
A very lucrative market overlooked by Songwriters.

The Synch. Lic. 5-day workshop (about an hour a day, www.catchthemoonmusic.com ) is happening again, starting Monday, March 15, Pacific Standard Time, California Yo!
For those of you creating 'Broadcast Ready' Recordings, who own your Copyrights and Masters, who can sign a contract to 'clear' them for Licensing, it could be a way to monetize your music in these times that are a'changing.
