Spam is a constant problem in forums like this. Spammers are constantly registering and trying to post. So far I have been able to stop all attempts to post anything, but manually deleting these scumbags is becoming more time consuming. So...users are now asked to check a box saying that they are not a robot when registering or logging in. I'm not sure that this is strictly necessary for logging in since the object is to stop spammers successfully registering in the first place, but the advice I have received is to use it there too. I don't think this should be much of an inconvenience, but if anyone has any problems logging in, or thinks it's too much of a chore, please let me know at admin@songwriterjunction.com.
