What is sadness

The truth is that I do not know what to say, simply that things never go as planned and one of those things is myself ... So I reappear as if nothing had happened but totally baffled emotionally but finally done internally.

Well, after all this and without more excuses, I leave this video that, despite its title, is full of light. I am aware that it is not a song as such, it is simply a musical poetry in which I play the piano myself.

What
is
sadness
What
is
sadness

Maybe
the heart
that becomes a bell
vibrating with the depth
that a tear can have
vibrating with the depth
that a tear can have

What
is
sadness
What
is
sadness

A point of light
trembling in the eyes

A colour surrounding you
made of grey
and salt visages
made of grey
and salt visages

What
is
sadness

May be the last breath
of a rose to the hand
that pulls it out
of the earth
where its perfume
was a science

A wave that becomes a thought
making you float
in a void
where the bitter
gives sensations
of a soft way of dying

where the bitter
gives sensations
of a soft way of dying

I always enjoy your poetry, your musical explorations, and your videos.

Despite 1,000's of years of Songwriting humans have not exhausted the possibilities. There will always be another Song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

Nice to see you back here Mora 🙂

You are right. It's not a song in the conventional sense, but it is music and poetry and visual art working together to great effect. I always look forward to seeing what you post.

I love that.

Hi Gavin!! Nice to see you! I hope you are going well.  It is true, the roses, and I think all the flowers, give their last perfume when you pull it out of the earth!

It is curious, their death also perfumes our homes, on the contrary we break down badly hahahaha

A wave becoming thought
taking you afloat
in a void
where bitterness
invites sensations
of a softer way of dying... ?
